Checking In With Our New PD: Dr Leo Hamilton
Contributed by: Kids Clinic
Kids Clinic now has a 6th clinic in Royal Square Novena! Our clinic in Novena is helmed by Dr Leo Hamilton, the newest paediatrician to join the Kids Clinic family. Dr Leo is a familiar figure to many expat families in Singapore, but for parents out there who have yet to know him, here are a few fun facts about Dr Leo!
He Finds Joy in Taking Care of Children
Dr Leo became a paediatrician as he likes taking care of children on a day-to-day basis. He understands children do not want to be sick and that they simply want to have fun. He also enjoys having an office full of children. While Dr Leo admits it can be challenging to treat kids all the way from newborns to teenagers, he embraces the challenge. He tries his best to figure out what is wrong with the children in order to make them and their parents feel better.
He’s a Fan of Singapore
Dr Leo moved to Singapore with his family back in 2011, and it is a move they do not regret. It was a thought set in motion ever since they visited Singapore for the very first time, more than 15 years ago. They love everything about our sunny island, from the food and vibrant culture to the ability to travel around the whole region.
Having worked as a doctor for many years, Dr Leo has since realised that the healthcare system in Singapore is really great. Furthermore, he finds that the families here are wonderful to work with.
He’s a Sports Enthusiast
In his free time, Dr Leo likes long-distance running and reading. He also loves to travel to explore all the great places in South East Asia.
We hope this short snippet gives you a glimpse of who Dr Leo is, but it certainly cannot compare to interacting with him personally! For parents who would him as your child’s paediatrician, find him at Level 16, Unit #16-09 at Royal Square Novena.
