Paediatric Plastic Surgeons

In SW1, Plastic Surgery for children aims to improve the form and function of body anomalies. Deformities in children may be congenital (inborn), such as ear anomalies including microtia and prominent ears, birthmarks, cleft conditions and tongue tie, or developmental. Developmental refers to deformities that come on when the child is growing up, such as abnormal lumps and moles. Apart from these ailments, other conditions plastic surgeons treat in children include traumatic injuries, such as facial fractures, burns and lacerations.
