Dr Wendy Sinnathamby graduated from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in the United Kingdom in 1994, and subsequently completed her Paediatric specialist training in the UK. For 2 years, she worked as a consultant in Paediatric Medicine, with an interest in Accident & Emergency Care, at the Medway Maritime Hospital in Kent.
In 2007, Dr Wendy returned to Singapore as a Paediatrician in Ambulatory and Adolescent Medicine at the National University Hospital (NUH). She was involved in setting up the Adolescent Medicine services at NUH. She commenced her private practice at Raffles Hospital as a General Paediatrician for more than 9 years before coming onboard Kids Clinic.

Dr Wendy’s main areas of interest are general paediatrics, including the management of children’s conditions like chronic cough, asthma, allergy, eczema, and other common skin problems, as well as gastrointestinal problems such as abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea. She is also experienced in newborn screening and follow-up, growth and development screening, emergency paediatrics, vaccination, travel advice and adolescent medicine.

Dr Wendy is fluent in English and Tamil. She understands Mandarin and can speak some Mandarin.

  • Your insurance can be used at our clinic
  • Criteria for insurance usage e.g. age of child, need for GP referral letter etc.
  • Payment terms e.g. co-payment (if any), pay first and claim later
  • Terms of coverage for treatment and medication
  • Limits of claim amount
2. Bring along your insurance card for verification at the clinic.
3. Keep the 24-hour hotline of your insurer, should you have further questions while at our clinic.
Please kindly note that ART swab test is required for children with Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI) symptoms which includes cough, runny nose, sore throat, phlegm and fever.

1. For the safety of all patients, it is advisable for parents to carry out the ART swab test on their child prior to visiting the clinic.

2. Kindly show our clinic staff the ART swab test result.

3. Procedures such as nasal suction and nebulization will not be administered to children with COVID or to children who have not undergone an ART swab test.

The Ministry of Health has updated its health protocols and emphasized the importance of social responsibility. As per the revised guidelines, people who test positive for COVID-19 should inform their close contacts to take necessary precautions under Protocol 3, which includes testing negative before leaving home to avoid spreading the virus. Additionally, facilities with vulnerable populations, such as clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and elderly homes, should require individuals with recent exposure to provide evidence of a negative Antigen Rapid Test (ART) result before permitting entry.
