When do I get my child vaccinated?

The following travel-specific vaccinations are available against the following diseases:
Japanese Encephalitis Virus
When do I get my child vaccinated for travel?
The recommend or required travel vaccinations will depend on the travel destination and areas visited, travel style (backpacking or hotel stay) and time of year (seasonality).
Parents are recommended to vaccinate their child around 4 to 6 weeks before departure. Some vaccinations may be given earlier or with an accelerated schedule. If you are planning to travel overseas and require a pre-travel consultation or vaccination, consult our pediatrician today.
