As parents, we know those early years are crucial to a child’s growth and development. What goes on during a routine paediatrician visit?
In this video series, our paediatricians Dr Mas Suhaila Isa and Dr Heng Siok Kheng shed some light on what most parents want to know when bringing their child to a paediatrician.
What Happens During A Paediatrician Visit?
Dr Heng: During a routine check, the baby’s growth and milestones will be monitored, and your paediatrician will perform a complete physical examination as well as advice on vaccinations.
Dr Mas: For parents, this routine paediatrician visit is also a chance for you to ask questions or other concerns that you may have for problems like skin care, bowel habits, mental health, sleep, toilet training, this is just to name a few.
