“Successful Transition: From Baby to Toddler”, a parenting seminar organised by Rise & Shine was held on 22 September 2018 at Suntec City Convention Centre with more than 250 parents and young ones in attendance.

Our paediatricians Dr Dave Ong and Dr Oh Meng Choo shared on important nutrients for brain development and appropriate screen time behaviours for young children respectively. Parents and kids also had a blast participating in our quiz and ball toss activity held at our booth.
About Author
This article is written by Dr Dave Ong, who completed his MBBS in the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2009. He received his post-graduate specialist training in Paediatric Medicine at the National University Health System (NUHS) and was awarded the combined Master of Medicine (Paediatric Medicine) and Membership of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH, United Kingdom) in 2014. Dr Ong is competent in paediatric and neonatal resuscitations for acute emergencies and has a special interest in Special interests in respiratory, ar-nose-throat (ENT) and skin conditions.

About Author

Dr Oh Meng Choo graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1997. She subsequently went on to obtain her Masters in Paediatrics and became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom). Prior to her private practice in 2006, Dr Oh was with National University of Singapore (NUS), Department of Paediatrics. Dr Oh’s clinical interest includes care of general paediatric patients, including emergency paediatrics, well-baby checkup, newborn screening, non-complicated ENT problems, vaccinations and giving medical travel advice.
